Why Use Delegate Access Instead of Sharing Passwords

Delegate access lets NTS manage domains, DNS records, and related products in your GoDaddy account without ever knowing your password.

You keep full ownership of the account and can revoke access at any time, while still giving our engineers the rights they need to support your environment.

Using delegate access also creates a clear audit trail inside GoDaddy so you can see which changes were made while NTS was assisting you.

What We're Requesting

For most support work, choose Products & Domains. This lets NTS manage supported products and domains without allowing purchases with your stored payment method.

•Recommended: Products & Domains for hosting, email, SSL certificates, DNS, and domain management

•Only when NTS specifically requests it: Products, Domains, & Purchase, which also permits purchases using your stored payment method

•If GoDaddy asks for domain folder permissions, allow the management actions needed for the domains NTS will support

Step-by-Step Instructions

1.Open GoDaddy Delegate Access

2.Start the invitation

Under People who can access my account, select Invite to Access.

3.Enter NTS's details

Name: Network Thinking Solutions

Email: support@networkthinking.com

4.Choose the access level

Select Products & Domains unless your NTS contact has specifically asked you to enable purchasing. If purchasing is required, select Products, Domains, & Purchase.

5.Send the invitation

Review the name, email address, and access level, then select Invite. NTS will receive the invitation and accept it.

6.Let NTS know

Tell your NTS contact that the invitation was sent. GoDaddy invitations expire after 48–72 hours, so resend it from this page if NTS cannot accept it in time.

Important Notes

•You maintain full control and can revoke access at any time

•Delegate access does not give us access to your GoDaddy password

•We can only access the areas allowed by the access level and any domain folder permissions you grant

•Delegates cannot view or change payment methods, passwords, or your Support PIN

•You can change or remove NTS's access from the Delegate Access page at any time
